Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 280

I can not thank you enough for the grant in which we purchased 3 chompsaw cardboad cutting machines with accessories. Every grade has created projects for the school art show in April. The machines are easy to use and I dont have to worry about students cutting themselves. They have had to problem solve, work together, learn from failure, perserverance, and most of all be creative. The adults that have come into my room even want to give the machines a try. As we move to a STEAM school, our students will already be ahead with the chance to create wonderful inventions. Thank you again for allowing Starke Elementary this exciting opportunity for our students.

Benefits to my students

Cardboard is plentiful; however, it is very hard for students to cut with scissors. These machines will give them a safe and effective way to create art projects in a more efficient time manner. Students could also work together collaboratively on large assembly projects. Teachers could use them to create classroom teaching aids.
