Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 10

The grant I was awarded made a huge impact on my ESE student's.  It gave them the ability to work on skills that otherwise would have been a little more difficult to achieve success.  The equipment that I was able to purchase allowed for more accommodations/modifications for each student.  We were able to utilize a balance beam to work on their balancing skills/coordination.  The multi-ring basketball system gave the students more opportunities to be suucessful due to it having multiple goals at differing heights.  The urban rebounder trampoline was a big hit because it allowed the students to get some energy out while also providing a good core workout.  Most of our inclusion students having sensory processing issues so the sensory balls help aid in their calming strategies.  Having more adaptive physical education equipment is vital to having a well-rounded pe program.  It was important that we provide every student a chance to be engaged in activities where they can achieve success.  This grant paved the way for that to happen and I will be forever grateful for the support and passion you have for these students and our community.  Thank you so much for your help!
