Goal

The goal is to ensure every student is provided with physical education services that meets or exceeds his or her specific needs. We are working relentlessly to enhance motor skill development and self-esteem in all students we teach. Having adequate resources will provide a better learning experience for all involved.

What will be done with my students

Adaptive physical education equipment will be utilized to help special need students as well as other students participate in the physical education setting. Equipment specifically would be the following:
1. sensory board
2. fidget tubes
3. create-a-course
4. kicker helper
5. liquid sensory tile mat

Benefits to my students

This equipment would have a lasting on all of the special needs students at our school in the present and future. It would have the following benefits/impacts:
1. improve self-esteem
2. feeling of accomplishment
3. reduction in anxiety
4. enhance motor skills
5. establish relationships

Some of the general education equipment we use doesn't target the needs of all students in our physical education classes. The goal is to continue growing the program to be more inclusive and provide as many resources as possible to increase student success.
