Goal

My goal is to give my students engaging literacy centers that will also hold them accountable for their work!

What will be done with my students

I will choose a book from the versatile kit that goes along with what we are learning for the week. The book and the versatiles will be placed in a center for the week for students. Students will work along with the book answering questions and placing the versatiles in the correct spot on the game board. The students will be able to check the pattern of the versatiles to see if they answered the questions correctly.
To hold students accountable for the work they do in the center they will be required to write a short summary about what they learned.

Benefits to my students

This will greatly benefit my student's reading comprehension and fluency. The versatile kit will also focus on the reading targets that the teachers put emphasis on.

Budget Narrative

The entire fourth grade (4 classrooms and about 100 kids!) will benefit from this grant!
