Impact to My Classroom

This grant has highly impacted he learning of my students. Collier County has adopted several interactive learning programs for students such as FASTT Math which is a interactive fact fluency, iReady which is a program designed around students reading needs, and Discovery Education which is also a interactive science program that goes along with the curriculum. Each of these programs need headphones to be able to interact by receiving this grant students are able to stay focused "in the zone" as well as have their own headphones. The organizational drawer system is labels so each child can easily access their headphones.

Goal

The goal is for each student to independently work with technology so other students are not distracted.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the ear buds to work independently on projects and computer programs that require sound. Programs such as iReady and Discovery Education are interactive programs to enhance student learning. Students need to hear what is going on to participate.

Benefits to my students

As we know germs are everywhere especially in the classroom! By purchasing ear buds for each individual student it will allow each child to have their own fresh set to use each day. Each ear bud set will be used for only one child ensuring students stay healthy!

Budget Narrative

Ear buds will be purchased from the dollar store in bulk and the organizer will be purchased through Amazon or organize the ear buds.
