Impact to My Classroom

Thanks to Champions For Learning, students now have a professional dress code for all performances and concerts! All 60 Chorus students were impacted by now having a proper uniform when they go to do performances. Before, students had to wear all black which did not look very uniform like or professional. This caused students to feel insecure when performing around other schools that were presented better due to a common uniform. Now students have a beautiful concert uniform and are more confident in their presentation which it shows in their performances!

Original Grant Overview

Goal

A grant to purchase a class set of uniform choir dresses for the Chamber Choir (Advanced Choir) at Golden Gate High School.

What will be done with my students

Choir students will be able to wear professional uniform dresses at all concerts, competitions and extra curricular functions.

Benefits to my students

The Choir Program. We are currently one of the only high schools in Collier County that do not currently have uniform concert dresses available for our choir students. These dresses will give our choir the opportunity to be more professional in many ways. Most importantly, it will boost the choir students' confidence and appearance at all concerts and competitions where they will see other school choirs dressed in uniform.

These are the most affordable and professional-looking choir uniform dresses that are available, I have chosen them in hopes that we can make our purchase happen this school year.
