My teaching partner and I have incorperated the 4 Tiny Dots number games to create engaging centers to help students learn number sense, addition, subtraction and comparing numbers. They have loved the bright designs and the 16 different games. They have become proficent at the games and enjoy using them often. The games have helped my studnet attain math standards and number fluency.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

At a recent Cambridge training, we learned about this engaging math game. Our goal is to provide 4 Tiny dot games to create math learning centers to be used by our team to develop number sense. The games offer sixteen easy-to-learn games that help kids fall in love with numbers!

What will be done with my students

Each cooperative group with the have a tiny dot game box and be able to participate in one of the 16 games. Students will rotate around to hands-on engaging games that help them explore numbers, counting and adding. They will work in cooperative groups to learn challenging math standards and concepts. The teacher will rotate and use 360 math strategies and Cambridge strategies to help facilitate learning.

Benefits to my students

The game playfully teaches counting, arithmetic, and logic They have vibrant, colorful designs and are easy to adapt for any child's learning needs.
