Thanks to your donation for the cart for technology class, we were able to mobilize our class. We have the Bobcat Boutique, a store run by the kids, where they were able to display the items for sale, and the machines needed to create. Having a limited space and little to no storage in the class, this was a huge relief for us. It will even allow them in the next school year to take the store to the cafeteria in the morning and be able to offer their items to the students. Thank you for making it possible to have mobility in our class.

I apologize I currently don’t have any pictures, we were not counting on being out of school. When return and are able to work with the kids I will upload pictures. There are plenty on Twitter and I know we try to tag you in several so you can see all the great things that are made possible thanks to your generous donations.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To allow the students to store and move STEAM materials around the class to their rotation.

What will be done with my students

The students will be working in STEAM rotations. The cart will allow the materials to be stored and moved around the classroom. My room has no storage, so to be able to offer these activities, I am requesting a cart.

Benefits to my students

STEAM activities work on students problem solving and collaboration skills. The cart will allow me to offer this to them, giving me a place to store and move materials around the class as needed for their activities
