Goal

My goal is to obtain a class set of 9 comfortable and reliable headphones, with noise cancellation features, that will enable my students to make the most of their time while using our classroom computers. We will be able to incorporate reading fluency into our student’s daily activities. We will have students record their voice and then listen to themselves. This will allow them to learn where they can make improvements on their reading. Also, students will be able to listen to their Read180 program with more comfortable and more reliable headphones.  

What will be done with my students

Students will benefit from listening to headphones that have noise cancellation features, as well as crisp and clear voice recordings. Students will be able to use reading, and fluency programs. In addition, students will be able to access their creative side as they will work on a variety of projects that allow them to practice their fluency to create audio/video projects. 

Benefits to my students

Students will greatly benefit from the headphones as they will have fewer distractions, since they will have more comfortable and more reliable headsets.
The benefit of having headphones that are noise cancelling is that students will be more engaged, and we will spend less time trouble shooting our current headphones. Also, more classwork will get done. Students will benefit from learning from each other as they will be able to listen to their fluency and will be able to listen undisturbed to their own computer programs.

We will be buying 9 Logitech G430 or similar headphones
