Goal

To provide anatomical models of multiple joints and reference charts of the body systems that will allow students to better understand their research and write medical style papers for competition 

What will be done with my students

Students will research and study specific joints learning about injuries, movements, and the anatomy that stops it from moving in specific directions. They will be able to see the cause and effect of the environment on the human body. They will present their findings to the class for peer review, and my hope is to eventually within the first full year of the medical academy to have them compete with other schools at the HOSA competitions state wide. These models and posters will be used for many years.  

Benefits to my students

Students will have a better understand of the anatomy of a joint. Hands on experience with the movements and functions of the joints as well as visually be able to differentiate where and what attaches to the bone.
Since these models will be a permanent fixture in the classroom, they will benefit over 100 plus students just this year, with the same number or more in the following years. It will also benefit any teachers that needs to demonstrate movement or the effects of illness or disease in their classroom.

I have chosen the best cost effective options that had a majority of what was needed to be a better visual aide for the students.
