Impact to My Classroom

The students at Eden Park were able to create designs and print their work out. Some of the designs they printed were animals , school mascot, and their favorite characters. It is always a joy to watch them and see their faces and they see the 3D printer come to life and they see their creations come to life right in front of their eyes. Next year e are doing entrepreneurship in elementary and they are already thinking of creative ways to use the 3D printer for their products. Truly a grant that keeps on giving! Thank you for giving this opportunity to my students.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

Have the kids design in 3D with Tinkercard and print their designs.

What will be done with my students

Students will design 3D images using the Tinkerard software. This will help them use math in real life. They will need to measure and determine how much material will be needed to create their design.

Benefits to my students

The students would be able to practice math in a real world settingand it would also allow them to be creative, and get an actual 3D print of their design.
