The Thomas A. Edison Festival of Light Regional Inventors Fair is an opportunity for students to “create a new idea and bring it to fruition. I will be facilitating the process in my classroom 2021-2022 school year.

Students will solve a problem through research, innovation and hands-on STEM application. Students will create a video showcasing their work to enter into the Thomas Edison Inventor's Fair. Students will follow the following process:
1.Identifying a Problem
2. Understanding the Problem
3. Brainstorming and Researching Solutions
4. Designing an inventive solution
5.Building and Assembling
6.Testing your Solution
7. Communicating your Results

The budget includes the school entrance fee and maximum participant individual entrance fee of 15 submissions.
