Goal

Students in Kindergarten need to complete 45 minutes of our online reading program iReady and many other online lessons. This year students need to provide their own headphones. Due to the pandemic, every child has their own school-issued laptop and works safely at their own seat. Many students have not been able to bring quality headphones. They either do not have them or the ones they brought have broken easily. For equity of learning, we want to provide safe durable quality headphones to each child.  

What will be done with my students

Each child will have a set of headphones labeled with their name that they can keep at their desk and use all year. This will be used to meet state learning standards in all subject areas with engaging online lessons through the district programs provided such as iReady and Waggle for math. The headphones should provide clear audio and last for several years.  

Benefits to my students

Students will all be provided with the same quality listening equipment and be able to hear the lessons provided easily. This will help with online learning from our district programs for all subjects. This will increase performance on online assessments. Students will be excited to all have good headphones that work!  

Budget Narrative

These headphones will have a 3-year warranty and be used for many years with both classes. Shipping is included with Amazon.
