Goal

My goal is to celebrate success in my classroom by providing my students with recognition.  

What will be done with my students

Students will celebrate their success in our classroom by visiting the Celebration Station. This spot in our classroom has a bell that the students ring and a special bucket to put their name in after they pass a lesson on iReady or a Reading Counts test. After the students ring the bell the rest of their classmates praise them by saying a quick cheer! This is a fun way to motivate our class to do their best work! Another part of our celebration station is our Pineapple of the Week, this is a student that has demonstrated being a leader throughout the week! Celebrating success with intrinsic motivation that will help to creating a caring and compassionate learning environment.  

Benefits to my students

Through the celebration station students will be given the motivation they need from their classmates and teacher to continue to strive to do their best work. Students will also get a chance to earn special yard signs to display at home to share and celebrate their success with family and friends. This will continue to encourage a love of learning!  

Budget Narrative

I am requesting the amount of $189.36, this includes custom printed yard signs from Staples and a Polaroid camera with film to snap a picture of our success!
