Goal
To provide engaging, innovating ways for the 1st graders at Pinecrest Elementary to write - in all subject areas!
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to use LCD doodle boards, magnetic dry erase boards, and reusable dry erase sticky notes to show their work in math, practice their writing, record their answers, practice their phonics skills...the possibilities are endless! And when we just need to get up and move around to get wiggles out... dry erase reusable adhesive paper to put on the walls of the classroom to write on! A Rocketbook will allow us to easily upload any notes or important information from our dry erase boards directly onto Canvas and Microsoft Teams to reference later! Dry erase pockets help us save paper and make assignments more fun!
Benefits to my students
These writing tools help all learners engage in content by changing up the media used to express their learning! Sometimes all it takes is being able to write with something other than pencil&paper to motivate a learner!
