Lipman Family Farms - $800.00
My main goal is for students with special needs to learn how to cook meals for themselves successfully and independently. I want to give my transition students a chance, like any other student, to learn how to properly cook a meal.
My students will pick out their food items of their meal choice from Publix and successfully cook a meal (s). Cooking meals throughout the school year is an ongoing, weekly activity. Each week the students will have to decide on their meal of choice. Transition students will cook a variety of meals. For example, one week they can cook their breakfast of choice and another week lunch, dinner, and so forth. Students will work individually and as a team to prepare and cook a meal.
