The students were very excited to get new reading books in the classroom. It definitely gets the students excited to read when they see new books. Thank you for your kind donation and support for education. I appreciate your help with making this happen to expand our classroom library.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To provide additional books to get the students motivated to read the Sunshine State Jr. reading books.

What will be done with my students

I will read these to the students and get them motivated to want to read these books as they get older. I would like to do an extension activity with these books with the students that can tie into the BEST standards.

Benefits to my students

Many of my students struggle with reading. I am trying to have my students find the love for reading. I would also like to get enough books during the year to help my students start to build a library of their own at home.
