Jory & Paul Westberry - $260.00
To support student leadership opportunities by cultivating a school environment of kindness.
Each quarter I will work with 20 students K-5 grades to seek ways to show and spread kindness on our campus. Students will submit an application to seek membership to the Kindness Club. Students selected each quarter will participate in activities such as quarter 1; paint kind messages on pumpkins, quarter 2; decorate and write holiday cards to staff, quarter 3; decorate and write kind messages on hearts and quarter 4; blow bubbles for students as they arrive to school.
Students will demonstrate leadership to other students. Students will pledge to be supportive and encouraging with their words and actions. Students will promote positivity for themselves and others at school.
Kindness pins will be given to club members to display their involvement in the club.
Paint will be used to write kind messages on donated pumpkins.
Blank cards will be decorated and written in to give to staff at winter holiday time.
Sidewalk chalk will be used through out the school year to write and draw positive messages around school.
Bubbles will be blown by student members as students arrive to school.
