This project was amazing to bring to life at Herbert Cambrige. Herbie, our otter mascot, made his debut at our quarterly goals (WIGs) assembly and the kids went nuts! They were so excited to see and meet Herbie!

Goal

My goal is excite our students about their learning by bringing our mascot to life!

What will be done with my students

At Herbert Cambridge Elementary, we hold family events such as STEAM night, musicals put on by our students and we also host assemblies and celebrations to celebrate reaching our goals!
At the family events and celebrations we will have a staff member dress up in the Otter mascot costume to help the students celebrate their successes!

Benefits to my students

Our students here at Herbert Cambridge Elementary love coming to school. But, we want them to love it even more than they already do! By adding this mascot costume to our family events and celebrations our students will be even more excited about school and their love for our amazing mascot, Herbie the Otter.
