The primary goal of this culinary arts club is to offer students hands-on experience in culinary techniques, recipes, and food science. By providing a dedicated space for learning and practicing cooking and baking, we seek to encourage creativity, teamwork, and a passion for the culinary arts among our students.
As part of this club, students will engage in a diverse range of activities to explore the world of cooking and baking. Some things students will do as part of the club include:
1. Cooking Workshops: Learn various culinary techniques in hands-on workshops.
2. Recipe exploration: Discover and try new recipes from different cuisines around the world.
3. Food Safety and Hygiene: Receive basic training in food and equipment safety and hygiene practices to ensure safe food preparation.
4. Food Science and Nutrition: Understand the chemical and physical changes that occur during cooking and baking and how this impacts nutrition.
5. Recipe Development: Use knowledge to create dishes.

Countertop Double Cast Iron Burners: Countertop burners are essential for hands-on cooking workshops, allowing students to learn and practice a wide range of cooking techniques.
Countertop Toaster Ovens/Air Fryers: Countertop ovens are crucial for baking sessions, enabling students to create a variety of baked goods, from bread to pastries and desserts. They are versatile and space-efficient, making them ideal for the club.
Cookware/Bakeware Sets: Cookware and bakeware are essential for the club. This will include pots, pans, baking sheets, muffin pans, cake pans, and cooking utensils.
Self-sharpening Chef's Knives: For the purposes of the club, students will also need to learn essential food preparation and safe knife handling. These knives are durable and utilize a self-sharpening sheath, making them both safer and more manageable.
Mixing/Measuring Sets: Mixing and measuring sets are essential for baking. This will include mixing bowls, measuring cups, baking utensils, and electric mixers.
