Impact to My Classroom

This was a game changer! So many kids are absent and when they are, they get behind in all subject areas. This is a quick and easy way to get them caught up. It is also perfect for those students who need a little more help or support. Take a photo of the steps to solve a math problem, print it right there, stick it in their book and they're ready to go! I also have used it to motivate and reward students. They create a piece or art, I take a photo, print it and now they have a sticker to keep forever. LOVE IT!

Original Grant Overview

Goal

This is a great tool for students when they are absent. This small sticker printer will enable students not to be behind and confused. We move so quickly through our curriculum, missing a day or two can put a child far behind and left struggling.  

 

What will be done with my students

This small camera/printer will be used for students who are absent or missing school. This device will take photos of math problems, notes written by the teacher, examples of student work, etc. It can and will be used in all subject areas. A sticker will then come out with the photo taken. It will be placed in "While You Were Out" book for the absent child. He or she will not feel behind or left out again.  

 

Benefits to my students

This small sticker printer will help all my students when they are absent or out of the classroom for any reason. Dentist and doctor appointments happen each day. This will be a great tool to keep my students on track!!

The adhesive printer paper will be used in the printer.
