Goal

Have an end of the year art exhibition where students self- portraits will be displayed for family and friends to see. Families will have the opportunity to purchase their child's artwork where funds will go towards art supplies what will enhance student learning and experience. 

What will be done with my students

All students in each grade level will create a self-portrait using various materials that will express their individual talent. Each project will be framed with a black matte . gallery style, and presented at the end of the year student exhibition.
Materials needed for donation will be applied to my 4th grade classes where they will be using modeling clay to create a relief self portrait sculpture.  

Benefits to my students

Exhibiting student art work empowers students. Not only does it give them a sense of accomplishment, pride and confidence but it also provides an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate their child in a unique way. 

Budget Narrative

The black mattes will be used for all students who will be participating in the exhibition. All other materials will be used towards the 4th grade self-portrait project.
