Goal

Our goal is to promote academic achievement in students by giving them a little extra motivation to achieve their math goals. By providing students with tangible evidence of their academic success, students will be even more motivated to achieve and reach for goals in all areas.

What will be done with my students

At VOE, the majority of the student body is comprised of ELLs, (English Language Learners). On top of learning in a language that is, many times, their second language, our students have been making such big progress in all subject areas and we hope to keep that momentum going.

Benefits to my students

When students have recognition of their hard work and success, they start to gain more confidence in themselves and take more risks in their learning. Our hopes is that these "Brag Tags" will provide students with even more confidence in their abilities and push them to continue to reach their academic goals in math. We want students to be proud of themselves and have a way of showing off all their hard work! Academic success is something to BRAG about!
