Original Grant Overview
Goal
My goal is to allow students to become leaders of our classroom and school event photos.
What will be done with my students
Students will take turns each week as our class photographers using digital cameras. They will take photos of learning activities in the classroom that can be shared with parents and they will photograph school-wide events. At the end of the year, the photographs will be compiled into a video for the classes to enjoy.
Benefits to my students
Students will have the ability to be leaders of our school by documenting important events and lessons happening at VME and in our classroom. They will be able to submit some of their photos to the yearbook staff for consideration for the yearbook. They will also get to practice the art of taking photos. For students who enjoy photography and want to learn more through research, they will be able to do so during our Genius Hour projects.

This request is for the purchase of 2 digital cameras and 2 camera cases. Items will be purchased on Amazon with no shipping fee.
