Goal

My goal of offering flexible seating in my classroom is to create an environment where students have seating choices to help them be comfortable as they engage in their learning activities. Students with motor planning or low muscle tone challenges will benefit from using flexible seating as it will help strengthen their core muscles.

What will be done with my students

Students will be given a choice and a voice of where to sit in order to do their best learning in the classroom. I offer various seating and standing options. These stools will be another tool offered to help students be comfortable in the classroom. Many students benefit from movement while learning. Movement often helps young minds stay alert and focused.

Benefits to my students

My students will get years of use out of these stools. They are indestructible and adjustable for fast growing students. Flexible seating will help my students with low muscle tone, balance, and focus. These stools allow movement so that students are able to engage in their learning activities.

Budget Narrative

I would like to offer 5 stools to students in my classroom. Each stool costs $67.76. These stools will last years and reach 100s of students.
