Tom Windfeldt - $445.00
The goal is to create a safe space for students to learn about their emotions and explore ways to manage those emotions.
After experiencing COVID, my fifth graders are in dire need of a way to learn about their emotions and to explore safe ways to manage those emotions. Because my students missed some crucial, in person, time to explore their emotions they have struggled with developing the necessary skills to cope and grow through typical fifth grade struggles.
These skills will provide my students with skills that will last a lifetime. Learning to identify negative emotions and having a tool kit to support them will help them in middle school, high school, and beyond.
These are the items that will be necessary for creating a corner that will provide my students with a calm area for managing their emotions.
