Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 19

I am incredibly thankful for your generous donation! It allowed me to foster creativity in my students while reducing their stress, which improved their mood greatly. I am so happy I was able to provide an emtional release and help them practice Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw. Finding that balance and self-renewal. Again, thank you for the difference you are making in so many lives.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

As a Leader In Me school, I would like to offer the opportunity for students to practice and develop their leadership skills by devoting time for artistic skills and hobbies that don't necessarily show up on a pacing guide.

What will be done with my students

I will host a Leadership Club where students will learn painting skills and create canvas paintings of their own to share with our school and community on our annual Student Leadership Day.

Benefits to my students

This leadership club, Pigment of Imagination, will nurture student potential outside of academics, inspire them to see the creativity they have within themselves, and to share it with others. Our club will help students find balance and renewal, explore talents and interests, and make meaningful contributions to our school and community.

Budget Narrative

The total project budget will go towards supplies to ensure all student have access to the materials needed to bring their paintings to life. All items will be purchased from Amazon to allow quick delivery and great customer support.
