Goal

I am writing to request funding for the implementation of a positive behavior reinforcement program in our classroom at Naples Park Elementary. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment for my students by introducing a selection of games designed to promote positive behavior. PBIS day will be on Fridays to celebrate hard work and positive behavior.

What will be done with my students

Elevating student success and fostering a culture of positive behavior is at the heart of our PBIS initiative. I am excited to introduce an engaging and uplifting aspect to our program that I am calling "PBIS Fridays."
PBIS Fridays represent a unique opportunity to celebrate my students' accomplishments and dedication to meeting classroom expectations throughout the week. These Fridays are all about acknowledging their hard work and providing a well-deserved moment of joy and camaraderie.
During this time, typically spanning 30 minutes, my students will have the chance to participate in a serious of games and activities. These games and activities will be engaging, interactive, and tailored to create an environment where every student feels appreciated for their contributions.

Benefits to my students

Positive behavior reinforcement through games has been shown to have a significant impact on student engagement and social development. By incorporating these games into our classroom, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

1. Promote Positive Behavior: The games are designed to reward and reinforce positive behaviors such as collaboration, respect, responsibility, and participation.

2. Improve Social Skills: Through cooperative games, students will develop essential social skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
