Not Everyone has Headphones!

While each student gets a device it does not mean each student can purchase headphones. The school year begins and so does computer usage. Teachers and I noticed students did not have headphones. Being the school counselor, many teachers reach out to me for extra resources that students might need. Once I saw the influx of teachers asking for an extra pair of headphones I knew I needed to try and get my hands on a few pairs! With the $270 I was able to purchase 27 headphones. This might not seem like a lot but it sure makes a difference. Students may be able to find headphones at 5 below or the dollar tree but they are not quality headphones that will last them all year and maybe into the following year! Passing out these headphones to the students and families in need made a huge difference. Students can complete work in the classroom without their computer being on speaker. These headphones also come into play when completing their state test. Many of these tests have voice/read-aloud questions and now the students can confidently garb their new headphones and complete the task! I not only want students to have the proper school supplies to be successful but also to be confident! You, the donor have brought that to these children everyday school day. Thank you!
