Goal
My goal is for all students to have the necessary materials they need, in any class they rotate to, so that they are prepared and ready for academic success without any interruptions of their academic time.

What will be done with my students
Students rotate to three classes throughout the day- math, science and reading. In all three classes, students will need the necessary basic school supplies in order to complete their assignments. Many students either do not come to school with these supplies, or in rotating throughout the classes, they leave their supplies in different rooms and therefore are not just unprepared for the class they're entering, but miss instruction to leave the current classroom to find their misplaced supplies. With this grant, there will be a class set of supplies for each rotation of classes to use.
Benefits to my students
One of the benefits for my students is that they are ready for success. In each classroom, each student will have the tools that they need to use for the assignments being given to them. Another benefit for the students is that they will each have their own individual set of supplies. This will help to decrease the sharing and mixing up of supplies, as well as the sharing and misplacing supplies. A third benefit is due to not needing to rotate with supplies, there will not be any interruptions in instruction because students forgot supplies and need to leave the classroom to collect them.
Budget Narrative
This budget is to cover the cost of a large pencil case for each student, as well as the necessary supplies that will be needed. These supplies will be kept in each student's pencil case, and will remain in the teacher's classroom. Each student will receive: a pencil case, a box of colored pencils, a box of crayons, a box of markers, a pair of scissors, a highlighter, pencils, a large eraser, a pencil sharpener, and a dry erase marker with eraser. I will purchase items solely on Amazon, so therefore there will be no shipping fee.
