Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Martha McCune - $300.00
The goal is for students to be able to use headphones to cut out background noise and focus on work that is online provided in our school's online resources.
Electronics - Personal computers/tablets/iPads, headphones, charging cables, computer mice, etc.
Students will use headphones to listen to videos, interactive virtual activities and online stations with limited noise from other students around them.
Headphones are suitable for extended use as they provide better comfort for extended periods. They offer excellent noise isolation and sound quality, which makes them ideal for focused learning. They are durable, and many models are designed to withstand rough handling, making them an ideal option for younger students. The most obvious benefit of noise-cancelling headphones is their ability to block out external noise. In a classroom setting, this could mean the sounds of other students, the hum of air conditioning units, or any other noise that could potentially distract students from their work. By eliminating these distractions, noise-cancelling headphones help students maintain their focus and concentration on the task at hand. Noise-cancelling headphones can help students maintain their focus and concentration by providing a quieter and more peaceful environment. The traditional classroom setting can be a challenging environment for some students who may be more sensitive to noise and other external stimuli. Noise-cancelling headphones can be an effective solution for these students as they block out external sounds and create a more controlled listening environment, which helps reduce distractions and improve concentration.
Quality headphones are $100 for 10. I would need 3 sets due to class size.
