Goal

To allow students to learn and improve on Florida PE Standards through active and fun activities during PE class with the new Froggy Ball Equipment.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the Froggy Ball equipment to practice different Physical Education standards that are spread out over Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Some of the standards that will be covered with this equipment include:

Safely travel in personal and general space and in relation to others and their surroundings.

Strike both moving and stationary objects from both moving and stationary positions for accurate direction and height using body parts and various implements.

Identify and perform moderate and vigorous physical activities that improve specific fitness components

Describe ways to cooperate, resolve conflicts and celebrate others, using positive commenting, during physical activities.  

Benefits to my students

Adding a new piece of equipment to PE class always increases the effort level and enjoyment as students of all grade levels try it for the first time. This Froggy Ball equipment is great for emphasizing different standards in all grade levels K-5, as students learn to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.  

Budget Narrative

The Froggy Ball equipment and extra ball will be purchased with the funds provided.
