Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Kevin & Robin Benoit - $211.74
I am excited to be back in 3rd grade this year and knew I needed to update some of my materials for my students. These materials, which I will use to create a variety of bins, will be a hit with them! Students will have the opportunity to design and build. While designing and building, the students will be enhancing their science, technology, engineering, and math skills. Plus, they're super fun.
Other -
The plan for my bins is for students to have access to them in the morning while I am doing attendance and getting our day going. They will be able to use them independently, but also in groups. These will be especially helpful for fast finishers and indoor recess, too.
These STEM bins will be beneficial to my students by enhancing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). They help students develop critical thinking and creative thinking, build resilience and problem solving skills, as well as communication skills while interacting with others.
The $211.74 will be used to purchase 6 STEM manipulative kits and two sets of storage bins to keep them in. The kits are Gear Bots, Brain Flakes, Building Blocks, Magnetic Tiles, Straw Connectors, and 4 in 1 3-D puzzles. The cost of taxes and shipping will be included.
