Goal

The goal of this project is to help our students understand the science standard of light, how it travels, how it refracts, absorbs and reflects.

Category

Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.

What will be done with my students

This is a very difficult science standard for students to understand. These cubes will be used by the students to manipulate the light and see/understand how it travels.

Benefits to my students

We don't have anything (besides a text book) to teach light. Students need something concrete in order to grasp this hard concept. These cubes will help immensely.

Budget Narrative

One mini cube and one large cube will be given to each teacher/classroom.

Items

# Item Cost
1 Mini light cube x3 $65.00
2 Large light cube x3 $97.00
  Total: $162.00
