Each student will have a mailbox that they will be responsible for checking daily to retrieve information, graded work, and homework to transport home.
With this system in place, students will gain responsibility and instill leadership qualities in all learners. Families will have the necessary information to stay informed about the happenings of the school and our classroom. Starting this in third grade will promote organizational skills necessary to be successful.
I am requesting $185.00 for supplies to implement a mailbox system in my classroom. This includes purchasing a wooden mailbox with 27 slots, heavy duty paper trays, label maker tape refill, and manila envelopes. Shipping and taxes are included in the requested amount.
