Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Pam and Tom Storrar - $228.28
To provide kindergarten students with fun, engaging and creative activities to start their morning.
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
Each morning as my kindergarten students arrive, they will be able to choose a morning brain bin of materials ranging from magnetic tiles, to playdoh to straws with connectors, along with other various items, that they will be allowed to create and build with. This will be done each morning while the students are waiting for the morning news to come on.
Morning brain bins can be important for students because they provide a fun and engaging way to start the day and ease into learning. They can help students develop essential skills, such as creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, and can also help them practice basic skills and fine motor skills. They are about exploration and students making their own discoveries. Morning brain bins can also provide opportunities for social interaction and group work, and can help students feel confident and successful.
Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way.
