Original Grant Overview
Goal
To have our classrooms set up to support classroom economy on each room. This means having flexible seating and prize incentives to create a desire for the students o buy into the idea of the classroom economy.

School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, etc.
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to upgrade to better seating options or gain prizes through completion of work in the classroom. They will have jobs with a salary and they can earn bonuses for completion of work, being on time and behavior. They are fined for missing work and infractions.
Benefits to my students
Teaching students financial literacy witch is a social studies benchmark in a real world simulation. It also is cross curricular with math as they have to keep track of their earnings and maintain their accounts.
Budget Narrative
The funds will be used in two classrooms helping over 300 students with flexible seating options. This will help our students who need to have these options to be more successful in a traditional learning environment.
