Goal
Having table top easels in the art room would be very beneficial to students in my painting, portfolio and AP courses. The tables that we use are flat, and having easels for each student will allow them to utilize the space more efficiently and help with portability.

What will be done with my students
My students in painting, portfolio and AP courses will use these when creating their artwork. They use a variety of materials, but using stretched canvas and canvas boards work very well with easels like these. My hopes is to have an easel for each students and I have up to 35 students in one class at a time.
Benefits to my students
My students who learn and practice painting techniques, will gain experience with a variety of skills. New painting techniques can be practiced when painting upright in comparison to flat on a table. These easels will be extremely beneficial to my upper-level portfolio and AP painters as well.
