Goal

Students will learn how to operate and use a light board to help them with their drawing skills and techniques.

Category

Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.

What will be done with my students

During the school year, students will be working on projects that require a light board to trace. Projects in the classroom that use the light boards are for pattern projects that require students to trace and repeat templates they have created. In addition, advanced drawing students use the light boards to trace some of their printed images.

As of right now, students find a space on a window to take their image to and then draw them. With the shared light boards, this allows more students to be able to trace their patterns and images quicker and more efficiently instead of waiting on other students to be done tracing.

Benefits to my students

Due to large class sizes, students will benefit from being able to use their own light board without having to wait. This will help students stay on track and not fall behind on projects that require using a light source.

Budget Narrative

In the classroom, this will help students throughout the year and in the future to use the light boards to trace.

Thank You for your consideration!
