My goal is to have 100% engagement from students during lessons

What will be done with my students
Students will participate in context clue lessons that will capture their attention and keep them fully engaged with a detective theme room transformation. I find these transformations aid in bringing students to a new level of understanding. Magnify glasses serve dual purpose and will be used during science investigations too.
Benefits to my students
Vocabulary is key to reading comprehension, which is why it is important for students to use context "clues" to determine meaning of new words for deeper understanding of a text. In turn, learning to utilize context clues will lead to improvement on state tests and build skills for the future. Room transformations also builds a unique classroom community.
