Goal

Golden Gate Middle School purchased a 3D printer over the summer. The students need to learn how to use the printer so additional filament is needed for the learning process. Students can then use the 3D printer to create merchandise through our Entrepreneurship class.

Category

Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.

What will be done with my students

Students will learn hands-on how to program and run the 3D printer to print a variety of objects that can be sold at the school's marketplace day.

Benefits to my students

Students will learn how a 3D printer works and how they can earn money by printing relatively inexpensive items and sell them for a good profit. They can carry this knowledge forward and may chose to start their own 3D printing Etsy shop or sell items at a flea market.
