Other -
Using the technology provided students will receive hands-on training in technical design and production.
1. Stagecraft
2. Sound Design
3. Stage Management
5. Show Control
Students will receive training on creating appropriate performance areas and using soundboards. Students will be able to design and run small performances in an intimate space. Not only will these resources allow students to more actively participate in design elements of musical and theatrical programs, but will also benefit all students at Immokalee High by providing another venue for extracurricular and classroom groups to perform.
1-2. Backdrop stands and curtains will allow actors to cover classroom areas to create performance space. This additionally provides an off-stage area for actors and technicians. Additionally, the curtains can be replaced by painted backdrops during performances.
3. A speaker and amp system would allow students to use microphones, music, and audio effects during performances.
4. A soundboard audio mixer would allow student technicians to control microphones, music, and computer inputs to create a cohesive sound experience for the audience.
