The goal is to provide students more hands on learning using the robotics V5 cortex. The students will be learning how to build and code using the VEX parts and V5 cortex. The objective is to have students be able to code a robot and have it move and perform tasks.
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
I would like my class have more V5 cortex units and tools to allow them more practice and collaboration while coding. Currently students work in groups of 4 using 1 V5 unit, this does not allow all students to practice and code in a timely manner.
With your help, the students would be working in smaller groups which would allow deeper understanding and allow more practice.
When coding and building robots, it is essential to be hands on. To be proficient you must practice. Having the V5 units and tools will allow students to practice and grow while learning to code and build with the VEX units and better their engineering mindset.
