Obtaining two grade levels morning work spiral review curriculum, and purchasing two licenses to allow use for the other middle school teacher.
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
Students will begin class every morning with a short & sweet, but rigorous focus on critical content and build a morning routine. This ELA Daily Review is a unique way to get your students warmed up and helps incorporate the 7th/8th Grade Language Standards, Grammar, Vocabulary Practice, and Reading Comprehension skills.
The benefit to our students because the morning work is a daily review, it really maximizes those first few minutes so that you can set a peacefully productive tone for your day. is that these short activities allow students to cover a LOT of reading and grammar in a LITTLE amount of time!
✨ establishes an effective routine
✨ consistently covers critical content
✨ engages your students in a positive learning environment
Each month contains 4-5 weeks of ELA bell work, which will have a theme around the season, national holidays, or events associated with that particular month. The morning work is focused on ELA 6th-8th Grade Common Core Standards. Each day has a thematic structure to cover language standards as well as enhance vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Not only will this hold our students accountable, but this also serves as a gauge for students' learning.
This budget will be used for both middle school ELA teachers to have access to this year long morning work and weekly assessments.
