Goal
My 2024-2025 goal is to obtain a comfortable, functional, and bright classroom that fosters a healthy and engaging envirnoment for student learning.

Class Furniture - Carpets, choral risers, transitional seating/desks, etc.
What will be done with my students
Whole group instruction on various standards, small group instruction to target personalized learning.
Benefits to my students
The stools will allow a functional work environment so students have room to read and write. The seat sacks will provide an organized desk area and ensure quality control when moving around to stations. The light covers will help decrease the negative effects of fluorescent lights.
Budget Narrative
The $645 budget request aligns to the GVM School Improvement Plan on increasing proficiency rates in ELA. The funding request will assist in creating a literacy-rich learning environment that encourages reading, fosters a collaborative approach to processing content, and helps to create a culture of a student feeling comfortable taking risks with their learning. My classes range from advanced students, students with disabilities, to students who have no English skills.
