Goal

To integrate technology use in the SGE School Counseling Program to engage students in small group sessions, classroom guidance lessons, and student clubs

What will be done with my students

I will use the iPad to:
1. Utilize calming apps to assist students in regulating emotions. (Head Space, Calm, Breathe Kids, etc)
2. Use the photo app to take pictures during Student of the Month Ceremonies.
3. Teach students in Friendship club to use iMovie to create "commercials" for the school news. (Videos created will teach students how to use the Buddy Bench, discuss character trait of the month). -Using my personal device now, but running out of storage.

Benefits to my students

Students will benefit because iPads can make learning about coping strategies visual and kinesthetic when used intentionally and purposefully.
