Goal

My goal is for my classroom to be one that students love to come to.

Category

Class Furniture - Carpets, choral risers, transitional seating/desks, etc.

What will be done with my students

A variety of seating options will be available to students on a daily basis. As of now, I already have a couch, a rolling desk chair, two bean bag chairs, and two high-top tables with bar stool. I just need a few more things so that my room is varied and flexible for student comfort.

Benefits to my students

Math can be a very tough subject for students and many don't like going to math class. But, if I make my classroom a welcoming, comfortable place students may not dread math class so badly!

Budget Narrative

The $447.69 would provide my students with lap desks to use when sitting at a space that does not include a table, an 8x10 area rug to put underneath the bean bag chairs two tables that students would sit at on the cushions that are being requested. This money would also make it possible to purchase foam floor tiles to make another area of floor seating more comfortable since my classroom does not have carpet.
