What will be done with my students

The students will have opportunities to practice typing on a typewriter. Their typed words will be the central theme of an art project that combines mixed-media painting to create their own “click, clack, moo” art interpretations.

Benefits to my students

Students from Kindergarten through 5th Grade will use the typewriter as a creative art tool while reinforcing letter identification skills, word building, and sentence construction. The typewriters will continue to be used for multiple projects beyond this initial art experience.
