Goal
My goal is provide 1st grade students (130) the ability to enhance their mathematical understanding by utilizing the Generation Genius Math subscription.

What will be done with my students
All 7 first grade classrooms will utilize Generation Genius as an introduction to a new mathematical concept. The videos are engaging to help solve mathematical concepts to real world problems. The program provides student-generated discussion and involvement. Students are asked open-ended questions ready to spark discussion and help kids make connections.
The program incorporate classroom fun with simple DIY activities that use cost-effective materials. They are a great addition to lessons, for engaging students, and empowering asynchronous learning.
Benefits to my students
Generation Genius has the ability to provide our 1st grade students with engaging and differentiated instruction for a multitude of learning styles and abilities.
