What will be done with my students

The WhyTry Curriculum will be used to conduct targeted, small group interventions over an 8-week period. Students will participate in interactive lessons that focus on understanding personal strengths, developing problem-solving skills, and learning strategies to improve grades and attendance. Each session will include practical exercises, discussions, and real-life application tasks to make learning relevant and engaging. The curriculum will also integrate pre and post-surveys to track student progress, allowing us to measure outcomes and adjust approaches as needed.

Benefits to my students

Improved Academic Engagement: The WhyTry Curriculum offers structured activities that teach students how to overcome challenges and stay motivated, leading to improved grades and attendance.

Enhanced Social-Emotional Skills: Students will gain essential life skills, such as resilience, self-regulation, and conflict resolution, helping them to better navigate academic and personal challenges.

Positive Self-Perception and Motivation:
The curriculum empowers students to see their potential, fostering a growth mindset that builds confidence and promotes long-term academic and personal success.
